Creamy Tuscan Garlic Chicken
Have you ever wanted to make a delicious Italian dinner? Do you like comfort food? This creamy Tuscan garlic chicken is the best of both worlds. We have a family of seven and when we want some delicious Italian food – we whip up a batch of this creamy goodness!
This creamy Tuscan garlic chicken has incredible flavor from the rich heavy cream, the nuttiness of the parmesan cheese and the flavorful sun dried tomato. There is just something about the
- 1 ½ pounds boneless skinless chicken breasts, thinly sliced
- 2 tbsp olive oil
- 1 cup heavy cream
- ½ cup chicken broth
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- 1 tsp Italian seasoning
- ½ cup parmesan cheese
- 1 cup spinach, chopped
- ½ cup sun dried tomatoes
- In a large skillet add olive oil and cook the chicken on medium high heat for 3-5 minutes on each side or until brown and cooked through. Remove chicken and set aside to rest.
- Add the heavy cream, chicken broth, garlic powder, Italian seasoning, and parmesan cheese. Whisk over medium high heat until it starts to thicken. Add the spinach and sundried tomatoes and let it simmer until the spinach starts to wilt. Add the chicken back into the pan and serve over pasta if desired.
